Biography

Rinalya is an almost legendary mage that was once a part of the original clan, the Hand of Shilen in the Golden Days of Aden. Though her age isn't known it's speculated that she's almost as old as most standing structures. People claim that she is in fact descended from Hierarch Mitraell but no one is stepping up to verify this truth. Some people don't believe she really exists, while others villify her as a harbinger of death and destruction. She disappeared sometime ago, last reported as an assassin working for the Revolutionaries of the Dusk at the time. At any rate, to the few left within the Echoes who remember her, she has always come back at great times of need and volunteered her services...although she was never a particularly social person. The only member that may have any idea of who and what she was about was perhaps Olorae en'Eveil...but the mystery lives on.

Recently people have actually sighted what people believe is the misshapen form of Rinalya, killing and robbing people again. It is up to society to look into this...although to be honest...

Not many people are sure they really want to.

Appearance

Rinalya stands at an approximate height of around five foot nine inches. She is known for and characterized by her long white, sometimes black hair, long tendrils of darkness that stretch down to about her waist line. Her eyes are a deep purple, almost black and sit astride a long straight and regal nose, though the tip is rather small. Her complexion was once considered beautiful, even for a creature of total evil but is now flaunting the decor of many slash marks and ritualistic scars. Even her smile, usually coloured with dark lipstick, bears the toll of this, for there is a prominent scar on either side of her mouth, making it rather frightening when she does smile. Her body is rather slender due to the two professions she studied in, but it is hard and lean and above all of course, scarred beyond belief. Nowadays she generally covers up and can be seen wandering the streets if you have a good eye. Sometimes she masquerades as an old crone...other times, a man. But she always pulls a cloak down over her face, an eyepatch more than politely present, in order to mask her identity better.

Her weapons and clothes may vary...but the danger is always a constant.

Recent Events

• Rinalya has been sighted in Giran and consequently, there is a warrant out for her arrest. She is suspected to be behind the death of at least two dozen people as a mercenary.
• Rinalya may have rejoined the Echoes of Darkness...and is out for Turalyon's blood.
